I would think nearly any pleco might be risky at sucking on other fish at some point, however Bristlenoses would be the least for that option. Make sure you are feeding the pleco actual food and not just leaving him in there for the algae alone which would/could cut down on the chance of the pleco ever sucking on another fish.
