Does any one have any of these beauties? They are my last pleco on my current wish list...and they are proving to be the hardest to find.... ...would love to hear any ones experience. Thankz

Nice choice in fish! I have never had one but I know there are thoughts that L152 is the juvinile of the L95. Ask how big they are!!

A great fish. Pseudorinelpis genibarbis now, I believe. Big ones are very tall-bodied, active and vigorous fish. I have some smaller (3") ones and they are butt-ugly! They've been popping up on lists lately - good luck with it! Very easy to keep, just include your wood ...

Nice, thankz guys! They are in the 3 to 5" range...what size till they start to color up? I wanna get a group of them, they are just so freakin awesome!! "I have never had one but I know there are thoughts that L152 is the juvinile of the L95" is this true? Hmmm...they are labeled as L-095's....but whateva. The juv. pic does look crappy...lol...hopefully they will color up with age. I can see the spots though, the distinct armour plating, and the orangish tail startin to come, so its gotta be them. Two + years of searchin and finallly found some! :D

Congrats on finally finding your plec! Don't you love the feeling of searching for that one specific one, and then finally seeing that box on the front step!

SHWEET! I just noticed you are in New Orleans! I'm moving down to Mississippi and your only about 6hrs away...if i can only get one of these, like the seller only has one, can i talk you into some of your other ones? I am gettin some L-114 I could trade wit...;)

In 1999 P. Pellegrini was rediscribed as P. Genibarbis. L152 and L095 are both forms of this fish. The fact that they look different is why they each have different L#s associated with them. Varying coloration can be attributed to location, as with L200 the farther south you go the lighter the coloration.
