I'm just curious if anyone can trailer a 8x4x3 ft tank to Seattle from L.A.

I'm looking to buy a 700 gal tank. Up here in Alaska, there are not many monster tanks. I was looking in Seattle Craigslist but have not found one yet. So I was browsing L.A. Craigslist and found a 700gal acrylic, the only problem is it's in L.A.

So I was thinking if someone might be moving to Seattle from lower California if they might be able to help a fellow MFK'r from out.

Thank you

Why don't you look into having it freighted up to Alaska? Have the owner now palletize it and have Roadway Freight or someone get it onto a container and ship it that way. It'll probably not cost you as much as you think-especially if it goes by barge or something.

U probably could if u have the room. I carried a 100 gallon tank in a van (one of those family cans not those big white ones) and not a scratch. As long as it is secure then it is a go. I have carried fish from LA to Seattle... That is a lot harder to do so i believe u could.

I live 4 hours south of Seattle and I figured if I drove to pick up a tank in Sacramento it was going to cost me over 500.00 in fuel. It might be cheaper to pay a trucking company

shipping is not a hard part, the only thing is the shipping cost. Sometime, you may end up buying a used tank with the price of new tank!

Hopefully you will find a way to get the tank because I really would love to see it.
