This may sound silly - but, at what age/size is a Marbled Pim (L. Longibarbis) no longer considered a juvenile?

I've had mine for almost a year now. I got him at around 4" and he's now approx. 15". I'm still feeding him daily with Hikari Massivore. I'd like to start feeding him whitefish meat to vary his diet. I'm having a hard time finding any, as such, I'd like it to last as long as possible when I do. The advice I've been given before is to feed him every other day once he is no longer a juvenile. Hence my question.

Also, if I'm feeding him the sinking pellets daily, how many is adequate for a 15" catfish? The bag says one pellet equals 1.5 goldfish...this of course means nothing to me, I'm not a fish nutritionist.

I guess for me it's when he or she has reach two thrids to three quarters of its full size, so i'd say yours is not an adult, but thats just me, others may have other ways of distinguishing.

I don't understand what's so funny? It's some of the best quality fish food you can get.
To the poster of this thread: These guys can get three feet long so I would say it would be an adult at about 28", or like 7 years old. I hve a 16"er that is about 8 months old. I feed him once every 3 days because after they hit 12" it is suggested to slow their feedings considerably as their metabolism slows down and they don't move around as much.
I can't wait to get my 300 gallon filled and set up to give him as much room as he needs. What size tank do you have yours in as that can also limit growth rate/age.
