L number needed

Can anybody tell me the L number of the galaxia pleco please! Ive just picked one up at 5".

Assuming you mean Leporacanthicus galaxias, then you are looking at L007/L029.

but if it any of the other black and white Leporacanthicus sp. it could also be L240, L241 or L294 (not much chance of it being the latter couple though).

The Leporacanthicus galaxias is L029, which can be told apart from the L007 (Leporacanthicus cf. galaxias) by the smaller spots longer head and shorted and a lower dorsal fin.
