so what plecos have you guys kept with your dovii??

I know that basically anything that enters the tank is dovii food but i was wondering if anyone have successfully kept pleco in there tank and if so what type? I currently have a couple of bristle noise in there and i have provided plenty of hiding spots for them to get into, ATM the dovii don't seem to bother them but i know that wont last so what can i put in to replace them.

Never had a dovii but maybe you could try some of the larger plecos like L095, L600, L24, L25

Again have never kept dovii but I would imagine that you would want a larger species. I would also guess that BN's could easily become a dovii snack.

Yea bristlenose stay small and will be food in no time. In one of the tanks at work they are in with rhino plecos and they do fine. We also have a really nasty jag in with a common that does good.

yeh the bristle nose will be coming out soon, nothing spends long in that tank unless i expect it to disappear lol. i like the L25/24 may have to go down that route or just re home a large normal, there is always loads of them about.

I've seen large royal's (L-191) literally just dominate a tank. Dovii have pretty serious teeth and attitudes. A 2' long L191 has some serious armor though.

thanks for all the suggestions i'm gonna keep my eye out and see what come up
