Im thinking of building a tank under the overhang of my stairs. It would be a L shape so I can be behind it and work on it. I want it to be a amazon tank. With tons of plants , discus, or angels. With other fish to. Ive planed it to be 193gl. The tank would be 24in tall. with a 43" Stand. 2 individual glass panels 3/8" Thick. Then the tank would be dry walled in.

Since I have never done a plywood tank. This would not start intill A. We refloor, and B. I do my 244gl saltwater plywood tank in the garage. If the 244gl. Turns out good Ill do this prodject.

Any tips on this tank or plywood tanks in general?

Can't say much that we haven't said several times in past threads.

Your going to need some good lighting with 24" depth and that width. The new LED's are interesting but pricey.

Plumbing an external drain if possible is a nice time saver too. Even if it's a hose going to a recycling tank.

Have you decided what your sealing it (and the S/W tank) with?

I heard Pond Armor would work
