My LFS recently got some Lamprologus tetracanthus cichlids in, i've never seen them for sale in Ohio, until now. I bought a group and threw them in a 55 for now with a group of marbled convicts/ The stocking list will diminish later on whe n they get bigger. Here are some pics and I have a video coming:

The most predatory and fiercest Tang i've ever kept, actually scrap that, they are the worst fish full stop.

They are truly stunning fish but can't be trusted with small tankmates. My male was huge and killed his tiny female partner. I got rid of him after a year and he now happily shares a tank of a frien with a huge Synspillum.

I had a reverse trio of kipili red tetracanthus that killed my spathodus. Pulled 'em out of my tank and sold 'em to a friend of ben jam in.

My largest male choked on a full grown helianthus. Had mine in with Attenuatus, helianthus, cylindricus, julies, fasciatus, calvus, meelii, and furcifer and they seemed no worse than the others other than the choking incident....

Bought a proven pair. Male 3-3.5" female a little smaller at 2.5". Got them home by them selves in a 29 gal. Starting digging pits, a day later the male ate his mate. Put him in my show tank and he went right after my sexfasciatus. Pulled him out and took him back to the LFS. Those fish have a nasty streak and need to be watched. Males have the potential to reach 8".
