Looks like an L-168 to me

I agree, looks like a butterfly pleco. they can look very different depending on what surface they are on and their mood.

I was initally thinking L-052 but these seem to come into stores much smaller and more colourful. Whereas L-168 Dekeyseria brachyura, is a much more pale fish and ive always found them to be rather flat and shallow bodied such as the one in the photograph.

At first I didn't think so but now I'm thinking... Perhaps you're right, still need better pic to be 100%
