one of my L001 has just die today and the cause of death is batheling me, it eyes have poped fin damaged and halve the scales missing any idea on the cause of death

man, that's too bad. are there other plecos in the tank that might have been fighting with it? also how soon after it's death did you find it, because other fish(or snails, if you have any) may have picked at him. I had a 10 inch common and a 8 inch sailfin together a while back, but had to get rid of the common because of extreme aggression. the sailfin died a few months later anyways, still don't know why...

Sounds like its been dead and something else has got to him after. Maybe the catfish in the sig? What were the water parameters?

Sadly my other L001 plec has died i think it has been biten after wards but ive never seen the eyeslike this after things have died PH6.5 NO3 0.3 NO2 0
