Last night my dad did a water change on my goldie pleco and filled it up to the rim of the tank. He jumped and is barely breathing after i put him in his tank. He was on the ground overnight i think. His tankmate is a goonch so i am reluctant to treat him or raise the temp above 79 farenhight. I dont know what to do. Any advice would be appericiated.

Nothing much to do. Add water conditioners and aerate the water as much as possible. Many plecos can survive out of water for long periods as long as they are kept moist. Good luck.

Lots of air! Lots and lots of air and turn off the lights. Fish do better with the lights off

Agreed (air stone, powerhead, etc). One other idea, lower the water level: theoretically this increases the ratio of surface area to water volume, and proportionately the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water.

He is doing better and i think he will live. I am feeding him lots of veggies to help him heal.

He is eating just like he was before and i an=m so surprised he is fine after he jumped. Thanks for the comments i think adding another air pump helped him.
