L014 pleco ? Differences

Guys these pics are from google searches but they do look different are they both l14 ?

I'd always thought it was a difference in juvenile vs adult morph.

Yes. Left fish is a juvenile, and right fish is a sub adult. The amount of yellow margin in the fins seems reduce with age/size/maturity. I just posted a video with a couple of adults in, I've linked it here as well.

Yea, the post I made recently of My l14 seems to show a morphing phase from juvenile to sub adult while I have owned him over the last year. He's put on an immense amount of size in the abdomen area and i can't wait to see how he changes over this next year.
