The small one cost me $125, the big one cost only $40! Kinda backwards isn't it? I'll be getting another couple babies from my friend Barbie.
Assuming you mean Barbie Fiorentino, that's great--I didn't know she was still producing fry regularly, though she did mention she was growing some out for the xmas season. I am on the waitlist, though

On an even more positive note, that "male" may actually be a female, which is awesome, as they retial for almost 30% more than males, and when the base price for most adults is at 400+, that's a lot of money!

Yep, one and the same. She lives about 70 minutes away from me, and I'm going to try and make it by her new shop monday. She does still have several fry growing up.
She already verified that it is male, because she offered 4 fry for the one if it were female. I wish it would have been female, but for $40, and 3.5" I can't complain.

Shame for me, don't get to see any breeding action for a long while. Cool for you, get to watch those babies grow. I'd still try and get them a little older than your most recent hypancistrus zebra. Then again, captive bred from a reknowned breeder everything should be fine.
