I bought them both 2 days apart and they are currently housed in a QT 10 gallon. They seem to be moving around scrubbing the glass but they are not eating what I give them. So far I have tried market shrimp, spectrum ciclid sinking pellets and algae wafers. What can I give them that's a sure thing. They r not skinny looking at the moment but this is now the third day since I've had them for.

Garlic supposedly is an appetite stimulatant. Try either (1) buying garlic extract and soaking the food in it before feeding the food, (2) rubbing cut garlic on the food item, or (3) feeding the fish with food that has garlic in it: (a) put garlic in some repashy food, or (b) (an easier method) feeding with NLS Thera A+ w/ extra garlic (pellets that include garlic).

It's only been three days? Don't do anything would be my advice. If they're otherwise healthy they will eventually eat and you might not see everything they eat anyway.

They are finally eating. They seem to take flakes and NLS cichlid food.

Those of you who have fed Zucchini, how do you keep it from floating?

i stab the zucchini slice with a spoon or chopstick. anything that gives it some weight.
