my lfs has 2 maybe 5-6inch L091 plecos in. apparently, they are very hard to find and they are for sale for $150 each. not really planning on buying one, but just wondering if they are worth that much.

Not nearly worth it. You can get them for that size at about $50 or so per online.

$60 for ones that size. Even then, I would be hesitant. Beautiful fish, but I don't think that they are THAT rare.

AT that price.. u can get a Goldie/ sunshine pleco for $150bux.. at 15" my lfs has it for that price...
