L114 and L24-L25 questions

i had some questions on these guys. I might be ordering a L114 and would like to know alittle facts and yes i am useing google! what do they eat.Do they eat wood do they grow fast will they tear each other apart? so the questions are on all of them.

they will fight. these do not need wood. grow painfully slow.

Yes, they are carnivorous feeders. Mine like earthworm sticks, hikari wafers, blackworms and bloodworms. They don't seem to care for market shrimp (though I'll try again). When they were young, mine seemed to like the fibers from the coconut husk caves (but don't care for any other vegetable material like carrots or zuchinni).

Though they are slow growing, one of mine went through a growth spurt: at 3.0" SL it then shot quickly to about 4.5" SL in 3-4 months; the other three are about 2.5"-3.0" SL.

Yes, they will fight, but if you have lots of hiding places (lots of driftwood), the less dominant individuals will have a place to hide.

L-24's will be next to impossible to find. They will not get along to good when adults have an 11 inch L-114 that I think is very old. I feed NLS pellets and HBH flakes to him he will not touch veggies and will not feed shrimp to him at all. L-25's are expensive and will get larger than L 114's and L-24'S.
