Ive recently set up a 75 gallong and cant seem to figure out what I want in it. My lfs has a bunch of pretty big L128 for a fairly decent price and I was thinking of going with those in there. Any one have these guys? Ive got some l200 which I love but im thinking I might try some Of the blue phantoms in the 75. The ones at the lfs seem to be mature. Will there be any chances of breeding with them? The more information I can get the better. If I choose to go with them and possibly breed them should there be a certain ratio of males to females?

L128's and L200's are pretty much the same fish, so everything including breeding habits are virtually identical. I believe they (L200's) have been bred before with very limited success. Id get as many as you could fit comfortablly in the 75. This would probly raise your chances of success. But even if they don't breed they are awesome fish and very active with amazing personalities! If you get them I would love to see pics!

I have had them and they are great plecos. If cared for properly they will have mind blowing colors.

Well TFP doesnt have many left so im gonna pass on them. I need to decide on something else. Maybe ill get a few more l200 if i can find some. Any other suggestions for active plecos?

I had L177 at one point and it was very active, nice colors too. You might consider it.

I have one and I love it. Very active even during the day.

Gold nuggets are cool but they arnt as pretty when they are larger. Id like something that has a smaller adult size and something that might breed one day.
