I just bought a L129 pleco (so I believe, can you ID that it is not a L270) and I've read many different things about them. One thing I read, is that they are more carnivores and prefer fish fillets and bloodworms over anything else, also they stated that they never touch the algae on glass. I've also read the opposite. What should I feed mine. I'd love to steer clear of bloodworms if possible. He is also about 1"-2" long.

Thanks! I really like it so far. Any way to sex them? Also will it eat algae off the glass? I like how it is passive with my petricola's yet when my cichlids pester it, it'll fight back hard. But only if it is provoked. Mine is awfully shy. Will they become more friendly/ outgoing eventually?
