I am in desperate need of 1 or more MALE L134's. I have a group of 5 females and need a male. Located in Saratoga, CA but will pay to have them shipped.

I think there's a couple of at least one at 6th avenue in San Francisco. I'd pick it up for you, but I'm unsure on how to sex them.

i recall guy at gcca.net that has been trying to sell his colony of 12 plecos more likely to have at least a guy in there- all wilds.

check out that classified if youre still looking for them maybe someone connected to that guy would get the group and willing to piece it out though the price is steep he wanted 450 for the group

if I knew how to ship, I'd sell you mine, I just got a pair to breed for me, and the other male is just kind of lonely, but.....

that pic, right below my name is pic of the male in question.

the only way id sell it if...it was the right price. this male is big, and has awesome design. it looks like the letters F(backwards) uy?
i call him fuy? haha

are you sure all your five are actually females?
sometimes it takes a long while to get them going. took me six months, but i heard of someone "near chicago" that breeds L46, and theyve been trying for 10 years to breed L134, and...I think it might be the same guy who is selling the 12.

I havent done the research on pairing, but would two females breed with one male? like...cause I could possibly trade if thats what it came to....but only if the female would actually breed with the same male that the other femal is breeding with....

they really have to be big enough to sex.
both males and females have odonotes, which are these fuzzy spikey things along their tail, and the males will get really fuzzy, females may have them, but much, much less.
i really couldn't tell very easily until i started to trigger monsoon season, and then the males starte really showing.

the ones i can get are breeding size so sexing is not a issue
