Hey guys.
I have a L14 sunshine Pleco for maybe 3 month now.
He is about 30 cm big, eats good and is active.
The Problem is that his belly looks sunken.
I feed shrimps, fish and Pellets but he doesn't seems to put on some wight.
Now i don't now what to do.
Should i wait little bit more because it needs time or should i catch him to treat him in a hospital tank with praziquantel?
Also i regognized that he sometimes looses some of his teeth.
Will they grow back ?
I try to get some better pictures later.

If he has parasites, I would treat the tank that he is currently in because there's a large chance the other fish are infected. You could start with praziquental, and then follow up with New Life Spectrum hexshield pellets or gel food that contains metronidazole and epsom salt solution. If those don't help, try levamisole.

So treating the sick fish in a hospital tank until he recoveres is not a good option?
All other fishes are doing fine and i don't like to stress them when it is not nececcary.
I heard healthy fishes can live with parasites and you cannot clean your complete tank 100%.

You can move him into a hospital tank, but the other fish may have parasites so it'd be best to just treat all of the tank. As for what to do, make sure he is being well fed, I would feed him food with levamisole or praziquantel.

Do i have to treat the tank twice or is one time enough?
I think the second time is only good for gill flukes right?

I would deworm if you have noticed any worms, I would also feed courgette every now and again, I would also get some good quality frozen brine shrimp, uncooked prawns, mussels and if he’s eating should start putting weight on again

Thats the point.
He eats like a champ but doesn't put weight on.
Hopefully he puts some weight on after the treatment.
I thought there is a rule about the treatment with Praziquantel.
For normal Worms one treatment and for gill flukes two treatments with a brake of a few days because some Worms are laying eggs and you have to get them before they can reproduce themselfes.
