L144s, a different species?

Obviously l144s are a leucistic form of some species, and they were given an L number because they were found golden with blue eyes in the wild. And then of course now the ones we find in captivity are bred into domestic ancistrus, but think of this, green dragons are what you get when l144s don't come out gold. Makes you think, there's probably some wild species of ancistrus that looks like green dragons that occasionally throws out our gold l144s... Just gotta find it and match it up
