L169 Identification verification

I picked up a fish labeled as an L169 Gold Stripe Panaque the only reason I question it is the max size listed on planet catfish is 3.1" which is about how big this one is. Also I want to verify that it is a male I noticed it had odontodes on the rear half

It looks like it's related to the clown/tiger pleco so I would expect it to stay small. Also planetcatfish doesn't include the tail when giving sizes but they have been off before.

ok that makes sense if they don't count the tail. I do have a clown pleco and their stripes aren't as distinctive. I really do love striped plecos I have a clown, L027a, L190, L425 and this one.
