L177 ate!!!

My l177 hasn't been eating cucumber, I think it ate spirulina tabs, but never actually saw it, and my bichirs ate the algae tabs too, so it's hard to say.

Last night though I tried zucchini and thel ittle sucker left some awesome bite marks all over the zucchini, seems like he likes the rind most.

If its not eating cucumber, what else can I try thats similar to zucchnini? thick green rind I guess?

Is squash okay?

Some one from another post also mention a L-18 that wasn't eating.. i heard that they take time to accumulate and adjusted to new tanks.. Squash is fine.. but i would try Potato as well. I just recently found a L-191.. he too wasn't eating cucumbers...

So instead.. i did zucchini and watermelon... I heard from Davo (mod) that plecos also will eat pumpkin..

Did u get the L-177 from Rich? been trying to find exotics..

Rich had L18's, medium spot plecos, this is a confirmed L177 caught from the rio iriri (spellign?) from Snookn21.


My L47's from rich are eating cucumber, but seems like they and the leopard frog like the zucchini more too. Gotta go to the store again tonight I guess lol Thanks for the food suggestions bro.

Cool thanks for the heads up msjinkzd! I did try kiwi the first night I had the L47's but I think my loaches beatt hem to it.

I'll try orange too.

alot of them like peaches. Sometimes fruits can cloud the water lightly because of the sugars though.

Mine eat more than one Zuchinni a week.
They refused any algae tabs and wafers, until i bought Hikari wafers, and they digged those.
After that I reintroduced all other brands of wafers, and now they eat all those as well.
Seems they had to recognize the wafers as food...
