L200 injury?

Caught this guy out where I could see him, looks like he may have got injured on the wood but want to get second opinions to see if it’s some kind of infection. Ben I first saw him it almost looked like antennas off the head. Getting ready to do my weekly water change on that tank and will be throwing in some salt to help heal up.

Looks like a injury. Clean water and should heal up.

Agree, clean water and keep an eye on it. These guys take injuries pretty well. I’ve had males literally rip the scales off down to the meat and in a few weeks you couldn’t even tell. During breeding they can get really nasty. This wound doesn’t look too bad, as long as the eye isn’t compromised I think you’ll be fine
