I rarely see 16" ones for sale so I'm not sure what to ask for it. If you have seen one for sale recently I'd appreciate what the price was. I've had this one for about 5 years. It will not be fun getting him out of my 580G.

That's a tough question. As you already know they grow big and need a big tank so your market audience is limited.

Short story with similar issue. A few years back there was a person who posted a 180 gal complete setup for $300. Everything was awesome but the catch was the deal included a Black Pacu that was huge! I don't want to guess the weight but it was 28" long 18" tall and about 4" thick. The tank was 22" wide inside! The owner insisted it not be killed and I was the first person who said ok and they trusted. It took 4 months but a found a person with a +500 gal tank and gave it to him. Megas however are not 'free fish.'
