Hello, do these fish prefer slightly acidic water or nuetral ph? I purchased one at
a lfs and it was a healthy specimen. I put it together with other plecos that had l
driftwood and a low ph. It died within a week. The stomach was not hollow so it was eating. whats the best diet for these plecos?

i keep them at 7.4-7.6 pH. Water is 78-82 F. They regularly eat blood worm. i tried zuchinni but they don't eat it. i haven't tried pleco pellets yet. 
i had them for over a month already. check your water chemistry amonia and nitrite must be ZERO and nitrate should not go over 15.
