L240 vampire loose their spots??

Do they loose their whitr spots as they get older and bigger? Any experience?
Mine loosing.its spots on the front half of its body.

Don't Adonis Pleco's do that? Maybe what you think is a vampire is actually an Adonis?
 
I seen L240 like this before when they get old , your L240 is in his golden years. Also his eyes seem alittle cloudy.
 
I have to look again but didn't notice the cloudy eyes last night until u pointed it out, could be the lighting or the motion. Out of my group , this is the only one thats loosing its dots

I like this look better than the full spots, how big is it?

I was thinking the same about liking it more like that. I've only been 2 weeks without a pleco in my tank, and you guys are killing me with these pics lol

hmm never seen that my 2 5" 240 are still dark black and have nice bright white spots, will have to watch this.
 
mine is still young and very black with yellow spots its with a big common and little bristle nose pleco and red lizard pleco... people say that they arent supposed to be together but thats bull because i give them space and drift wood and plenty of food and caves...
