The Plecos are nice but the altifrons (?) are spectacular! I used to have a breeding group... maybe its time to get some more!
Hey thanks alot. Those are captive bred altifrons that I've raised. I sold the parents and raised a few hundred fry and these are the 15 that I kept. I'm just waiting for a pair to form and then I want to thin out the group, unfortunately I only have a few possible females.
They do the same, you just don't see them sifting through the sand. I talked to another breeder of red head tapajos and he said he would keep them in substrate and sometimes without. Doesn't really matter. If you can keep them in sand it is really cool to watch
