I went to pick one up and they barely had any red/orange in them. Just the edges of the fins and color was washed out. Do they color up better and become more active once they are settled?

they willl color up a little but alot of the color comes from the part of amazon where they were collected. they may brighten up a little but not much.
usually if you want one with alot of color they need to be collected from the sao felix or they say seven pointer.
Typically the more red the more expensive. At that size you won't see much change. The fish will just get larger
Thanks, I didn't wanna get it if it wasn't going to color up.. I'll wait till I come across a Sao Felix 7 pointer around that size
