Fro. Searching through planet catfish there seem to be a few similar plecos that very in size... thing is this guy looks just like the 260 but obviously isnt.. the king tiger look similar and as suggested gets about 5 inches or so I've read.. but again the one I have is atleast 6.5 or 7 inches... owner says it's about 3 years oldI've had several L260 plecos, all between 3.5-4 inches as adults, maybe a small fraction over with age (the one I have now is over 15 yrs old). L66 plecos are larger with a similar pattern. I haven't kept them, some sources say they can get 6 inches.
I figured as much from the "beard" and pattern on belly.. but that's going off of research on the l260 so because I'm o pleco expert I'm not sure if applies to all plecos lolI’m not sure on type but it’s a male.
I’m not a pleco except either but I don’t hesitate to say that’s a male from the odontodes on the side of the face and on the pectoral fins....his body also look a little hairy? Hard to tell from the picsI figured as much from the "beard" and pattern on belly.. but that's going off of research on the l260 so because I'm o pleco expert I'm not sure if applies to all plecos lol
