Anyone on here keep these guys? Planet catfish lists them to get about 6" and im curious if thats correct or if they get larger. I just purchased 2 and im probly gonna get 2 or 3 more later this week. Can I see pics of other l264's you guys have?

Getting pics is too hard. Sorry. The 2 I have are real close to 6 inches. I have never seen any of them over 6 inches (so far)
Do you know the sex of either of yours? What do yours prefere to eat? Ive read they are mostly vegitarians from some sources but other sources said they prefer meat.
Has one a few years ago bought it at 6 inches and it stayed that size for the 2 years I had it then it mysteriously died. I think 6 is about right on them never seen any larger.
They are primarily carnivourous, but mine (sadly it did not survive the move; had it for 2 years) would eat zuchinni (and sadly amazon swords) too. I think it's good to make sure it gets vegetable matter in its diet to prevent bloat. Search on PC, my recollection is that there are a few threads that mention how someone's L264 died from bloat and a diet of too much shrimp.
I havnt seen mine eating yet but i drop in 2 algae waffers everynight and they arnt there in the am.
