The Jamanxim is a tributary of the Tapajos river; it's further downstream than the Teles Pires.

Only info I can give is I have these on the way along with a few other L27's. First time I have seen them pop up :)

Shhhh!!!!

But seriously I've heard of them before. Most of the info I got had to be translated and was very general. Basically as stated about only main difference is collection point.

Thank Matt

You must did a order from Brazil, how big and how much mike?

Small -medium sizes price is always determined on arrival and after Q. I wish I had more info but at the moment I do not.

Interesting. Nice looking Panaque's. Looks like the colors are more solid in the bigger on then the other goldlines I've seen.

Just to add a little more: In the description of Panaque armbrusteri, specimens were collected from the Tapajos (bought from fishermen near Itaituba), Teles Pires, Jamanxim, Peixoto de Azevedo rivers.

The only other river that I see added to 'L027 thunder' is the Jatoba, which is significantly further south.

There may be small differences between these river locations but I think they will be the same species - Panaque armbrusteri.
