I'm not sure,Sadly, Mine just died today. I'm not sure whats going on with it. It suddenly starts swimming in a different manner like its,weak. Maybe he's starving but i've put in a driftwood. Anyways,may my L27 rest in peace in a better place 
Sorry for your loss, but to be very honest, i have a feeling it may have had something to do with your water quality, since you managed to answer every question people asked you except for what the exact water parameters were in your tank...
But as a future note, although meds may not hurt your fish, you should always try and make sure you know what exactly is wrong with the fish before considering medicating a tank, since certain meds can stress fish out, and if you add too many meds at the same time for example, it could cause even more problems then it helps...
