Zebra plecos on the loose, there exploring there newly decorated tank :).

I have 5 in there, I believe ( 2 males, 3 females )
and I think the smallest one is missing part of its tail, or it's just lazy and dosn't show it off like the others.

They get frozen blood worms, and a mixture of flakes every day.

Filteration = 1 bubble wand,1 sponge filter, aquaclear 20, with lava rock, and some nano balls.
Water temp = 81-84 depending on how cold it is in my room.

In the morning the a.m they get flakes, during the pm after i syphon out all the left over food and waiste, I feed them a small ration of frozen bloodworms.

So daily 1 gallon water changes, and some type of black water extract, its in japanese so I cant read it.

Every other week I will wait on the 1 gallon water change and do a 50% w/c.

So far there has only been 1 male who guards a cave and wont leave it unless its feeding time.

hmm, I believe when I bought them they were around 6-8 months old. I've had them for about 2 months. ( again thats just a guess I could find out how old they were when bought)

The biggest is a close 1 1/2" while the smallest is .75 - 1"

Awesome zebra plecos, the ultimate pleco.

Sadly I'm going to need to sell them in a couple months unless something comes up., so hopefully i can atleast get some babies before than.

Then they are too young to sex accurately, and probably even to guestimate what they might be.

are you sure? i've been doing research on these for about 4 months and most of resources say breeding around 2" and them maxing out at 4".

if you can, could you fill me in on some correct information?
