L48 questions

  1. True carnivore like the goldy pleco, good appetite like the goldy too right?
  2. Activity level compare to the goldy pleco? As active, less active, hider, etc.
  3. Good tankmate with goldy pleco?
  4. Any special requirement?

I keep both L-14 and L-48 together.. there's actually another member on here who does the same.. except his are full grown adults..

They are the near identical fish except one is gold the other is blk. Diet and environment is the same.. make sure to do weekly water changes..

Hey Zero how would baby 2" goldy plecos do with a 3-4" L48? I understand about territory, but given enough space the L48 won't seek out and try to kill my baby goldy pleco right?

should be fine...

I keep a 4" L48 with a baby L14 around 2" in a 10 gallon.. they get along fine.. their currently in that tank as grow outs until i am comfortable with them inside my 60 gallon..

The only issue that i'm having in my 10 gallon is the bio load.. I have to do water change each week as my water turns brown at the end of it.. But otherwise.. their both healthy as ever.. eating bine shimp and algae walfers.. At very young age.. they do not touch raw shrimp or even veggies.. Sometimes they will but not often enough..
