ANyone know what the juvie plecos would look like if an L600 and L114 mated???? Would the babies look more like L600? or L114?

See the "Shane's World" article on PC:

From about day 12 onwards the fry became a bit more adventurous and started coming out of their hiding places to forage. On day 18 they had developed yellow spots on their body, though the tail still remained translucent. We noticed that some fry started developing a melanin pattern on the tail. This was quite interesting as we knew their parents had different tail patterns (one being the L600 morph while the other being the L114 morph).

Yes. But what I'm curious about is that when the L600 and the L114 cross breed. Like when the plecos mature will they look like more like L600s? Or L114?? Will u be able to tell that they are a cross bred with characteristics of both L600 and L114?

There is no correct answer to this. They are a hybrid. Every hybrid is different. Even within the same batch of fry they will vary.

The quote from the linked article sums it up. These 2 fishes are so similar in appearance, both practically being the same species, Pseudacanthicus leopardus .People have enough difficulty differentiating between the 2 morphs as they are, so 'diluting' these characteristics further would make it far harder.
