I’ve heard of this on a bristlenose before and iirc they fasted it for a few days and it fixed itself. Is there any boyancy issues? Are they pooping? If not I would suggest treating with Epsom salts and after/instead of treat with eSHa 2000 incase it’s swelling caused by bacterial infection

Try some prazipro with kanamycin and Epsom salt at 1tbsp per 5g.

Kay123, post this in the pleco section (under bottom feeders).
There are a lot of pleco pals there that might be able to help!

I had a pretty fat chocolate albino but never worried about it. It was a GOOD eater and was eating massivore pellets that would get left uneaten. No floating or swimming issues so I didn’t worry about it. I figured it was the same as when you feed a catfish and they get giant bellies. I’d say back down on food and feed more fiberous foods. You have the driftwood which is good but try cucumber, zucchini, peas, etc. upload_2018-9-7_20-10-50.jpeg
