What's the best food for my L90 papa panaque? I have a 6inch fish that chews on the driftwood and is fed algae wafers. What else can I give it to add variety - will cucumber and squash be ok?

Thank you.

I would feed cucumber or zucchini. Also potatoes, yams, and other greens are fine. Peas, green beans, brocolli all can be used also. Offer some meats like beefheart, bloodworms, frozen market shrimp and shrimp pellets. Driftwood is a must.

I would also try using some fruits, Kiwi and mango are pretty good. Don't use them too often either. My L330 loves mangoes but won't touch kiwis.

all these are good, but id shell the peas and remember to wash and soak potatoes to get rid of the starch which is harmful to water quality. i use potatoes often as they sink, but cucumber and zucchini are probably preferred. and do make sure you have driftwood

Which of your plecos like potatoes, because very few of mine will take normal potatoes.

L001 and L083 mainly the L002 has a go now and again. im usually left with hollowed out discs
