Lab bred hybrid lizard

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Pretty interesting. I can use this against the peope who think new species cannot come from hybridization and against those that say hybridization doesnt help science >:D
This gives me the thought that marbled crayfish were a product of hybridization. I live in NM and have seen some lizards that look very similar to the pictures. i may have to try and catch them and see if there pathogenic :D But there sooo fast...

Gotta love a great hybridization debate right???
My stance is go for hybridizateion as long as they aren't released into any natural system where they could do some damage.

These would be epic in the den!!!

That is my old lab!!!! If you look at the contributers at the bottom you will see a list of names. Aracely was the main researcher but Diana and Peter Baumann are worthless. They have been caught before actually taking data from other peoples computers and turning it in as their own. The research is very sound and we produced hundreds of those hybrid babies while I was there, most appeared sterile. But once again, Bill Neaves and the Baumanns and piggy backing on someone elses work. Sad.

a nonnative species of any kind released into the wild could do some damage.
