Hey guys. My friend has a Lab/Chow mix that he needs to get rid of. The dog is about 50lbs and is black in color. I will get pics up ASAP when he send them to me.

This dog should not be around children or people who have no experience in keeping dogs. He is extremely friendly with other dogs of all sizes and always plays with another dog that is about 15 lbs. Recently, this dog named Bear got out of my friend's balcony and bit somebody. The bite was minor but the landlord told my friend that he is no longer allowed to keep the dog at the apartments any longer. This dog has bitten a few others and sometimes randomly shows aggression issues. The only time he has been aggressive with me was when I got too close to him after feeding him. Today my friend dropped him off at the Pasadena Humane society and he was put into quarantine. I talked to the staff there and they said he was aggressive with them and he would not be taken out of quarantine and put to sleep. When I told my friend this he instantly took the dog back but we really need to find him a place ASAP. He is a friendly dog, always jumping on people (hence not good with children) and just really wants to always play. He was just not trained well enough and I don't believe that he deserves to be put to sleep. He is not even 2 years-old yet and I really hope somebody who has space and experience with dogs has the heart to give him another chance. I do not know the history of this dog but if you are interested PLEASE PM me because this dog is currently back at his apartment where it is not allowed and my friend is doing all he can right now to keep him but it just isn't a good idea. Everything will come along with the dog including leash collar, food, treats, etc. I have personally taken care of this dog before and he was nothing but playful with me.
