Lacerdae ID. Conclusive pics?

you need to get a close up of the bottom of his chin so to speak, if the dentiaries (not sure spelled right) run parallel to eachother, then lacredae, or other, if not then mala

There are two species of green Hoplias, H. lacerdae and an even rarer undiscribed species. I had our guide Felipe Cantera look at all my Hoplias and confirm they were H. lacerdae. I will go with his identification any day. I had 7 and they all looked alike to me. At worse cause senerio they are the rarer undiscribed species. But most definantly not malabaricus. Ken

IMO time will tell.
but i say lacerdae.
the dentaries are V shaped because its mouth is open.
can you get a chin shot with the mouth closed?
 
I have decided to put my trust in the seller. As you say, time will tell. I believe the seller is honest. I will continue to update in my other thread every 10 days for growth, then every 3 weeks as growth slows.
