OK, here are a couple. I apologize for the poor quality: I'm still learning this camera. Should have just pulled out the automatic.

Small, they are! Fortunately for me, I had requested small: I had a 55 open, which will be fine for growout for a while. By the time they get some size, I'll have another section of the fishroom set up.

I have three 5-6" specimens and they absolutely hate each other. :irked: I put them in a 75 together and had to seperate them within hours. They were vented by Jeff as a trio, but we'll have to wait and see.

I was just thinkin about that Celtic...lol. Seems like they would be an aggressive sort of pike....I talked with Kutty, and he was saying that lacustris and celidochilus were some of the most aggressive pikes...totally hate each other for some reason. He suggested if you were serious about tryin to breed them, the minimum you have to get is at least six...as they are so aggressive, any less than that and they will start takin eahc other out. Thinkin these guys are gonna have to go in 100gal + tanks just as growouts just to help handle the aggression. Awesome pictures you guys! Can't wait to see the mature! :D Best of luck!!

I think those are going to be sweet! Thanks for the pics. Celtic-don't think you're off the hook either, let's see your 5-6" beauties!

Good luck with this request! :shakehead

:grinno:

Aye, Celt. hardly ever breaks out the camera...lol....which is a REAL shame, as he's got some AWESOME fish! ;) I'd just love to go to his house and see his tanks...lol

I don't have a digital camera because I spend all of my money on cool fish :grinyes: .

I have my three in different tanks, but two of them are in adjoing tanks and they spend all day trying to get at each other. :irked: . The good news is that the largest of my three is starting to show a dorsal spot; so I have at least one female. The bad news is that I will probaly need an 8ft tank to put them together.
