Ladyfish (Elopidae), has anyone had experience keeping them?

i dont know whether to post it here or on brackish section or salt since the specie is saltwater. but i am currently keeping mine in pure freshwater.

has anyone kept this fish in freshwater and have any suggestions and how to's about keeping them?

mine is currently on a 100 gallon tank with ox-eye tarpons the same size around 2 inches. they are feeding well on small minnows and are very active as of the moment. they are with me 4 days since i got them. i know for a fact that ox-eye tarpons althou is a saltwater fish can and are surviving in a pure freshwater tank since my friend has kept one for 2 years.

Your tank is gonna be way overstocked in a year or so.
