guys, juts wanted to share my new stock. just finished reviving my 100 gallon tank. i got 1 lady fish, 2 oxe eye tarpons, 2 archer fish, 4 peacocks and 2 pacus with 2 plecos. all average around 1 1/2 to 2 inches. the tank is pure freshwater. all seems contented and started to feed at once on minnows.:)

so far no aggression towards each other. they only pick on the minnows.its their 3rd day and everythings seems alright. all fish are active and looks healthy. :)

*facepalm*

Please do your research before grabbing a whole bunch of fish. Pretty much all those fish are brackish fish. Many will fare much better in marine. And most will easily outgrow that tank, easily - presuming they don't die out first.

Please consider moving them to more suitable environments.

Regards

thanks for the headsup i will do in the future. but for now they are pretty healthy. all fish are getting stocky and are feeding well.

Just curious, the pacu and peacock bass are totally freshwater fish, and will easily out grow a 100 gal in a few months, the dats and archers prefer brackish? Seems to me an impending disaster in the very near future. Either the brackish types won't be able to osmoregulate in fresh water, or if you start adding for the proper salinity, the freshwater fish will end up with the same stressful situation (not even considering the size of the fish in such a small puddle). Sorry for the bluntness, but one must (at least to my way of thinking) be realistic.
