200 bucks a good deal for a 96 long, 18x wid framless lagoon style tank with stand that leaks. it was custom made 5 years ago, The owner said he had it set up as saltwater for 3 and the owner before that had it 2 years but got it custom made. Only worries I have is no professional made bracing, just 3 silicone thin glasses pieces the owner now did. what should I look for, glass thickness etc.. is it worth it.

no one, dimensions are 96x18x18, I bought it for 1745.00 btw. plants and angels. very excited

Need pics, but how did it go from 200 to 1745 in two days?

That is a heck of a price increase!

I've never heard of a lagoon style tank, what does that mean? What is the thickness of the tank glass?

lol 175.00 the thickness was 5/8 I believe, glass was thick as my pink. I got an old pic when it was sat up as salt. i havent taken any yet. and I was told on a Planted tank forum that was style idk personally 00808_gJEA2YCTOT2_600x450.jpg

Correct me if im wrong but is that a 135gal? I recently seen one on craigs that was in good condition for 125 i believe. But that tank has euro bracing and its just as strong as a regular brace. Many believe its stronger as regular braces are cheap flimsy plastic braces. But with a 5/8th thickness and being only 18 inches tall then you dont really even need braces honestly. Recommended glass thickness is 7mm which 5/8 converts into around 15mm . I only say this because its 18 inches tall, you generally need thicker glass when going for depth or "height". So glass thickness is on spot but leaking is no good.. if you think you can reseal it go for it, its not a bad price.
