Has anyone used Laguna's large air pumps the 45 or 75? I am eyeing them for a couple of K1 reactors. They really don't consume too much electricity and people seem to love their water pumps. Any input or review would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Loud like a deep water diaphragm made for outside. Mostly just that deep resonate hum heard with much smaller aquarium air pumps. The bigger the diaphragm the more intense the hum. Pond equipment meant for outside isn't usually manufactured with silence in mind.
Now multiply that x3...
The only large air pump I have heard that is fairly quiet is the Whitewater linear pump line. Not cheap, but the scfm delivery is outstanding. For a fish room you would only need one..and probably the smallest they offer. But these aren't quiet either.

The laguna look interesting because of the watts consumed. I will probably end up going Jehmco.
