I want to run the pump without the casing so I can filter the ingoing water.
will this work? I can't really see them putting a kill switch on it, but who can tell.
does anyone have the dimensions of the 900 GPH pump ? all I can find is the measurements of the case.

It's just a mag-drive pump inside. It will run without the case. It's much smaller than the casing. I don't know the dimensions of the actual pump.

good call twilight, nothing but a big powerhead.

bit of the old switcheroo going on at hagen though. compare the pump to the box.
laguna's site and everywhere else say 900GPH. everywhere else but the pump.
