I thought this fish was a boy and all of a sudden he or she is fat? Females don't get fat before they spawn do they? I have never noticed this before and think there might be something else going on. Could this be bloat...I have never dealt with that before? He or she is acting normally and still eating.....It is actually a new fish I bought as a male Lemon Jake. When I first put it in the tank within 6 hours, she/he acted like she was spawning with one of my males...she was slim...Now, 7 days later, she is so fat....I have never noticed females blowing up like this............Can anyone help?
