With Wife & Kids in Stafford
I'm fairly new to Africans, but am getting into them as my wife loves the colors that the ones at PetSmart have. So I went and found the most colorful ones that I could and came up with the following:
Xystichromis sp. “Kyoga Flameback”
Haplochromis sp. “Uganda Fire Red”
Xystichromis Phytophagus "Christmas Fulu"
Tropheus sp. "Red" Moliro
Xystichromis sp. “Dayglow”
Haplochromis sp. “Ruby Green”
Xystichromis sp. “Flameback”

Would it be possible to mix some of these in a tank? Just like a breeding trio/colony of two or three of them possibly? Or a trio/colony of one and just mix and match some of the others to fill in around them? The tank is a 150g, thanks.

I'd want an all Male show tank from Victoria... That is my dream tank as well as a huge native tank and South American tank

I'd not mix those Vics together, they will easily hybridize.

I'd pick one type, or go all male.

If you don't plan on selling the fry, get whatever you like. What else are you going to put in there? IMO a 150g for a small breeding group of vics would look empty
