Anyone know where to get one and how to take care of it?:)

You are restricted to only those lampreys native to california, here is a list of the watersheds that the major species is found http://calfish.ucdavis.edu/calfish/SpecShedlist.asp?specId=87
I think there are a couple brook lampreys as well but the adults don't feed at all and do not live long, the larvae of these are filter feeding burrowers and are hard to keep.
The pacific lamprey can usually be gotten free from just about any hatchery in areas where they occur. You should be able to get them to feed on chunks of fish or fish carcasses but you might need to use large non-gamefish as hosts. A better idea is to use them for this http://thefoody.com/fish/lampreybrewet.html

No Lampreys here guy. The only ones coming into CA are dead and used for Sturgeon bait. Even if you go up North and get one they are Illegal to transport or take either by net or pole. I wouldnt want to get caught with one of these live or dead, unless you have a receipt prooving it was imported as bait from Oregeon
